This thesis by publication investigated STEM teaching and learning in an example of an Australian based approach to nature-based, early childhood education (ECE), the bush kinder. Influenced by past scholarship on forest schools and Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) teaching and learning in ECE, it focuses on an longitudinal study that took place between 2015 and 2020.
