We conducted a clinical trial to investigated whether anodal High-Definition Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (HD-tDCS) to the right Ventrolateral Prefrontal Cortex can improve cognitive inflexibility and repetitive behaviours in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). While there was no effect of HD-tDCS on measures of flexibility assessed, this preliminary research supports the feasibility and tolerability of HD-tDCS in ASD.
