Biosolids are nutrient rich by-product of wastewater treatment which improve soil properties and crop yield. The land application of biosolids is limited mainly due to the presence heavy metals, disease causing pathogens and toxic materials. This study was designed to determine whether the biosolids produced at Black Rock water reclamation plant can be used as a soil conditioner for barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) and Faba beans (Vicia faba L.) plants and improve soil health under low nutrients condition.
