Security and Privacy for Vehicular Adhoc Networks

In this thesis, the security and privacy issues of VANETs are analyzed. The study defines the fundamental privacy requirements and analyzes possible privacy attacks and addresses the problem of efficient revocation in detail which is the critical aspect of preserving the security and privacy of VANETs. Besides enhancing VANETs security, the authentication process was made more efficient and communication overhead was reduced.
