Sexual Arousal and Pornography Use in Romantic Relationships

This thesis distinguished sexual arousal by a romantic partner from sexual arousal by porn and developed a novel theoretical model to examine how both types of sexual arousal influence relationship wellbeing. Results across three studies showed that whilst partner arousal was beneficial for relationship wellbeing, being aroused by porn was detrimental.
