Social Cognitive Development: An Investigation of Language, Empathy, and Reasoning

This thesis investigated social cognitive development, and language and moral reasoning, in early-to-middle childhood, using behavioural and neurophysiological measures. Collectively, this thesis illustrates the ongoing development of social cognitive skills across early-to-middle childhood and highlights the nuanced role of language during this development.<p></p>
