This study examined behavioural and electrophysiological effects of transcranial stimulation on social cognitive abilities. Positive effects on aspects of emotion processing were observed, which were also related to neurophysiological markers. Stimulation also interacted with autism-relevant trait scores, underlining the relevance of this research to potential clinical applications.
