Soldier performance management: The utility of heart rate variability to evaluate allostatic load

This thesis explores the utility of nocturnal heart rate variability to monitor allostatic load in defence personnel. It explores the sensitivity of heart rate variability to periods of increased stress and demand, compares to alternate measures and discusses the practical implications for using these markers to monitor defence personnel.
