South Australian Quakers and Unitarians: a comparative study in modernity

This research examines the practices of South Australian Quakers and Unitarians and argues that in both communities, the individual is given high value: a notion which is commonly associated with, and characteristic of, modernity. It also determines that their individualisms are not the same, demonstrating the variance within modern ideology.
