Sports betting advertising: shaping children’s gambling attitudes and consumption intentions

This research found that sports betting advertising was influencing young people’s gambling attitudes, knowledge and behaviours. While this research contributed to a ban of gambling advertisements during live sport, further regulations and education strategies are needed to ensure young people are protected from the potential harms associated with gambling.
