In this thesis, concepts emerging from cocycle theory have been redefined to form a comprehensive framework for the study of stability and numerical methods within time-dependent dynamical systems. This new mathematical theory provides a better understanding of the nature of forward and pullback behaviour that is inherent within such systems.
