Strangers at Home: Christian youth workers in secular contexts

This thesis places the experiences of Christians in Australian secular youth work in historical perspective, explores the role of social ecologies in the formation of a calling to youth work, and compares the experiences of Christian youth workers to those of Christian chaplains in government secondary colleges. How do these Christians express their faith in and through their professional youth work role?
