Structural-Functional Connectivity Bandwidth Following Mild Traumatic Brain Injury

thesis
posted on 2023-11-27, 04:27 authored by Nicholas Parsons
This thesis developed a new measurement to uncover how brain structure constrains, maintains, and regulates brain function. In healthy people, this thesis showed that most of brain communication is enabled by indirect structural connections. In patients with mild traumatic brain injury, a newly developed measurement predicted cognitive processing speed as patients recovered from injury.
