This study investigated human, clinical, and bacterial factors that influence poor outcomes in Staphylococcus aureus bacteraemia. Using a prospective adult clinical cohort, genetics, microbiology, and epidemiology identified that there were several factors that had predictive potential for poor outcomes in this disease.
