The Impact of Family-Based Child Mental Health Interventions on Parental Health

This thesis investigated whether family-based interventions targeting child mental health improved parental mental health. Findings supported the effectiveness of the Australian adaptation of the Strengthening Families Program and indicated that family-based interventions have the capacity to support reductions in parental depression and psychological distress.
