The Influence of Reading Storybooks on Children's Settling Behaviour During Transitioning to Early Childhood Education and Care Centres

This study employed seven children aged between three to five years who were attending an Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) centre for the first time, their parents and the room educators. Using constructivist grounded theory as the methodology, the research findings were formed into developing a theoretical model that represents the process of facilitating a positive transition to ECEC.
