The Killing Shed: Building Performance from Pieces of Self

This research investigates the relationships between gay identity and rural masculinity through non-naturalistic solo theatre. It situates itself within the context of queer autobiographical performance and formulates a new vocabulary for describing a theatre-making process that emphasises the role of space and geographical location in the formation of queer identities.
