The Multiple Values of Citizen Science and New Technology

This thesis integrates citizen science with new technologies to (1) deliver up-to-date ecological information for conservation management - with a focus on small fauna, and (2) create a positive loop by improving participants' well-being and deepening their connection to nature. The thesis provides recommendations in terms of project design to optimize participants' outcomes and engage broader audiences.<p></p>
