This study captured the voice of young people who have recovered from familial trauma in the context of dual statutory orders from the Children's Court. The findings indicate that practice with young people subject to Child Protection and Youth Justice involvement can be strengthened with the integration of attachment theory into relationship-based practice, and ongoing support for the spiritual self-care practices of practitioners.
