Alexandra's creative research focuses on the potential for line to volumise beyond a single slither on a page. Her work evolved into a multi-textual installation, 'Ma(r)king Matter', which was the accumulation of her process tests and a study in their relationship to each other. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, 'Ma(r)king Matter' become an unseen reality which further highlighted the unresolved nature of the acts of cut, carve, cast and their relationship to line and its volumic outcomes.
