Accelerated rates of sea-level rise threaten the persistence of coastal wetlands. This research modelled potential future extents of coastal wetlands, identified legal and financial mechanisms that could facilitate wetland resilience, and evaluated factors which have influenced past changes in mangrove and saltmarsh extents.
