The relationship between investigative interview quality, trial process, and outcome in cases of child sexual abuse

This thesis examined the influence that interviews conducted with child complainants have on the conduct and outcome of child sexual abuse trials. The results suggest that interview quality mainly affects how complainants are cross-examined, which in turn influences trial outcomes.
