A mixed-method study—incorporating systematic and meta-analytic reviews and qualitative methodologies—which examined the key leadership elements influencing successful organisational change, in addition to investigating the role of leadership in fostering organisational identity and organisational identification during change. The study established positive and significant relationships between key research constructs and developed a competency model focused on the leadership of change.
