This study examined the working practices of (selected) Danish feature film writer/director partnerships, affirming screenwriting and story development as distinct creative labours. Prioritising the practitioner interview and narrative analysis as research methodologies, it articulates specific creative principles and guiding industrial frameworks that facilitate transnational pathways for Danish screen practitioners and the feature film as cultural export.
