Three essays on Telecommunications Economics

This study responded to key questions pertaining to the role of privatisation and competition in technology access and in the process of innovation. The study considered the role of regulatory modalities in technology uptake. The findings support the conclusion that privatisation and competition levels impact technology uptake and patenting activity.
