Threshold Concepts in Clinical Psychology Education

This thesis investigated the Threshold Concepts in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy education. Key stakeholders including clinical psychology educators, clinicans and students provided input on the most transformative, integrative and troublesome concepts in teaching and learning CBT. It was found that the CBT model, collaboration, emotion and practicing CBT were core threshold concepts and recommended specific teaching strategies to ensure learners acquire threshold concepts during postgraduate clinical psychology training.<p></p>
