Towards a nurse-led model of care for medication abortion provision in regional and rural Victoria

While abortion in Victoria is legalised, abortion access in regional areas remains poor. This study developed a nurse-led model of care for medication abortion provision in the primary healthcare setting. Successful implementation of the model has the potential to significantly improve abortion access for women residing in underserved regions.
