In this PhD study, cotton textile has been chosen as carbon substrate for the synthesis of oxygen electrocatalysts. With different dopants and thermal strategies, efficient ORR and OER catalysts have been successfully obtained, which demonstrate promising applications in air battery and water-splitting systems.
