Under the Skull: A Study of Embodied Trauma in Neuroepigenetics

This thesis investigates the kinds of relations neuroepigenetic researchers are drawing between ontologies of traumatic or adverse experiences and neurological states. Using interview transcripts and peer reviewed journal articles as primary data, it argues that neuroepigenetics is having a dramatic impact on notions of plasticity, inheritance, and embodiment.
