Using metals with norbornenes and fused [n] polynorbornanes

This study investigated supramolecular chemistry applications for rigid molecular frameworks when combined with metal ions. The development of sensors, coordination complexes and organogelators was accomplished and from the results of this work a number of promising future avenues of research have been initiated.
