Values of coastal ecosystems from fish and fisheries

Research emerging from this thesis values Australia's coastal vegetated ecosystems from the perspectives of fisheries. The main findings show that the seagrass and tidal marshes are valued over millions of dollars annually by supporting fisheries production in Australia. This thesis provides good evidence to policy makers of the importance for the continued management and conservation of coastal ecosystems.
