This study investigated the impact of illusory self-motion (vection) on the human autonomic system and explored how neck vibrations influences vection in virtual reality. Through empirical virtual reality studies, findings indicate non-linear physiological responses to vection, with neck vibrations potentially detrimentally affecting the overall vection experience.
