Weaponising Affect: The turbulent displacements of heritage destruction in Iraq and Syria

This thesis explores the impacts and implications of the heritage destruction wrought by Daesh on targeted communities from Iraq and Syria. It enhances understandings of the strategies people employ to reconstitute themselves, their heritage, and the places that have value for them in response to violence and displacement.
