Whitehead and Merleau-Ponty: Toward a Process Phenomenology

This thesis provides a synthetic account of Alfred North Whitehead�۪s process metaphysics and Maurice Merleau-Ponty�۪s phenomenology of embodiment. Highlighting confusions in the literature regarding Merleau-Ponty�۪s place in the phenomenological tradition, it argues that Merleau-Ponty can and should be interpreted as a ���process phenomenologist.�۪
