This study generates fundamental knowledge on Avian Influenza Virus (AIV) dynamics in Bangladesh and assesses AIV health risks to humans, husbandry and wildlife. The study highlights that reduction of contact between various domestic and wild bird groups are key to reducing the risk of transmission of AIV in Bangladesh.
