Wrinkling Study in Flexible Roll Forming of High Strength Components

This research provides a new understanding of wrinkling initiation in the flexible roll forming process by considering experimental and numerical findings. This study establishes a link between wrinkling initiation and effective geometrical and material parameters. This thesis also proposes a comprehensive criterion to determine the onset of wrinkling.
