Bett, Rosemary, von Treuer, Kathryn and Fuller-Tyszkiewicz, Matthew 2008, Relationship between social capital and wellbeing, in Proceedings of the 10th Australian Conference on Quality of Life, Deakin University, Melbourne, Vic..
This presentation of my research examines the relationship between social capital and wellbeing. Researchers and theorists have both been interested in the area of social capital because of its relationship to health. A relationship between social capital and individual health and wellbeing has intuitive appeal. Certainly, any identified predictors or significant relationships between social capital and health and wellbeing may lead to targeted health interventions. However, this area of research is fraught with operationalisation and methodological issues.
