Family food environments as determinants of children's eating : implications for obesity prevention
Campbell, Karen Jane. 2004, Family food environments as determinants of children's eating : implications for obesity prevention, Ph.D. thesis, School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences, Deakin University.
This thesis shows that the family food environment is complex, impacting on children's obesity promoting food habits in a variety of ways. Some aspects of this environment were particularly influencial across a range of obesogenic food habits. Understanding these relationships provides much needed focus for public health approaches to obesity prevention in children.
