Rearing juvenile Australian native percichthyid fish in fertilised earthen ponds
Ingram, Brett A. 2001, Rearing juvenile Australian native percichthyid fish in fertilised earthen ponds, Ph.D. thesis, School of Ecology and Environment, Deakin University.
This study showed that more stringent monitoring of ponds used for rearing juvenile Murray cod, trout cod and Macquarie perch, combined with an increase in an understanding of pond ecology and dynamics, results in substantial improvements in productivity and associated juvenile fish production, which benefits fish stocking programs and aquaculture.
