Summary In this project the filmmaker revisits her 1998 short film 'Elizabeth Taylor Sometimes' that projects us into the post-human world in which the body is outmoded. The meat is despised and celebrity is a garment we buy at Target - cheap, accessible and banal. Remixed to reflect the impact of social media on the representation and presentation of celebrity
Notes Exhibited as part of a group show "Celebrity Aura" of thirteen artists at the Phoenix Gallery, Deakin University, 10-15th December 2012. The exhibition was held in conjunction with the Inaugural Celebrity Studies Conference (School of Communication and Creative Arts), 12-14 December 2012
