Students’ attitudes towards mathematics and math-gender stereotypes: gender and year levels
Wu, Yang (Gabrielle) 2017, Students’ attitudes towards mathematics and math-gender stereotypes: gender and year levels, MA thesis, School of Education, Deakin University.
This study explores gender and year level based similarities and differences in students’ attitudes towards mathematics (SATM), students’ math-gender stereotypes (SMGS) and relationships between SATM and SMGS. It further confirms the significance of gender equity in mathematics education, which still requires continuing work to make up the gap.
