Intuitive eating in relation to other eating patterns and psychosocial correlates
Bruce, Lauren Jade 2017, Intuitive eating in relation to other eating patterns and psychosocial correlates, PhD thesis, School of Psychology, Deakin University.
A comparison between aspects of intuitive eating and disordered eating, and the psychosocial factors that are associated with women’s engagement in these eating patterns, demonstrated that some aspects of intuitive eating overlap with disordered eating. Findings have potential implications for interventions designed to prevent and/or reduce disordered eating.
