Summary Researching sporting journalism, sociology, digital publications and ethics, with case studies from Australia (AFL) and the USA (MLB), it found the creation of in-house newsrooms within sporting organisations are having a detrimental effect on journalism. It ultimately gives 12 policy recommendations to ensure that journalism ethics are maintained industry wide.
