Summary This study presents the research on developing nanostructured anodes with high-rate capability for lithium-ion batteries. The silicone nanocomposite and graphite anodes were produced by facile, low cost and scalable process. The structural-battery performance investigations in this project open up the ways to develop practical anodes for high-rate lithium-ion batteries.
