This exegesis situates filmmaking practice in an Indigenous research paradigm. With a focus on cultural preservation, the research provides a vehicle for knowledge sharing, acquisition and production that is premised on relationality. As a result, practice becomes central to knowing and filmmaking is re-configured from one of entertainment to a process centered in cultural practices.
